Beauty On A Budget: Colourpop Cosmetics |
I've always loved Colourpop Cosmetics ever since they launched in 2014. What's not to love? Quality cosmetics and skincare without breaking the bank, plus they're cruelty-free!
My Colourpop and Kylie Cosmetics major haul (2016) |
I remember my first ever makeup haul in 2016—it was all Colourpop and Kylie Cosmetics (they're both under the same manufacturer: Seed Beauty)! I hoarded because you can only get both brands in the US. Back then, you can only buy directly from their website, but you need to have a US address since they don't offer international shipping yet.
I also had the option to buy from local resellers then. But I didn't because the price was at least twice. I decided to ship it to a relative's US address instead. That way, I won't be paying so much for each item that I wanted.
And since I bought so many, it took me 2 years till my next purchase. Although last year, I only bought two Colourpop Lippie Stix. Then 2019: I hoarded again. 😅
My Colourpop Cosmetics 2019 haul |
In photo:
- Lippie Stix in Trust Me
- No Filter Loose Setting Powder in Translucent
- Fourth Ray Beauty Rose Quartz Roller
- Lippie Scrub in By The Bushel
- Precision Brow Colour in Black N' Brown
- Full Fan Face Brush
- No Filter Foundation Stix in Light 67 N
- Fan Brush
- Lippie To Go in Toss 'N' Turn
My favorites from this batch are:
1. No Filter Foundation Stix in Light 67 N - I love how pigmented this foundation stick is, and the fact that Colourpop's Match the Brand/Find Your Shade tool is so accurate! I'm an NC30 in MAC Cosmetics' Studio Fix Fluid Foundation and a Natural Beige (220) in Maybelline's Fit Me® Matte + Poreless Foundation. For only $10, a little goes a long way, and it stays longer than other foundation sticks.
2. Fan Brush - best brush for your highlighter — be it cream, liquid, or powder!
3. Fourth Ray Beauty Rose Quartz - I think I bought this when it was on sale, so I got it for about P700, which is still cheaper as compared to buying it locally.
FYI - this is not a sponsored post. I bought this with my hard-earned money. I really love Colourpop Cosmetics, I hope they consider selling it here with still reasonable prices!
