Starbucks 2019 Planner (Philippines) in Milk + Teal Pouch Review |
And just like that, the planner season is upon us yet again. I was on the hunt for my 2019 planner, looking at about 5 different brands and designs. However, Starbucks has again won my heart over. Find out why, and if it's worth collecting 18 stickers.
How to get a Starbucks Planner 2019 Philippines
To get a Starbucks 2019 Planner in the Philippines, you have to collect a total of 18 stickers. One must purchase either a Tall, Grande or Venti handcrafted beverage from Starbucks. For more information on this, you can check out the terms and condition here. The sticker collecting has started last November 2, but you still have until January 7 to do so.
This year though, Starbucks Philippines is not only offering a planner but a travel organizer as well. However, you also have to collect 18 stickers to redeem one travel organizer of your choice. So if you're planning to get both, you have to accumulate a total of 36 stickers!
I, however, just chose to avail a planner. After like weeks of researching, I finally decided that Starbucks 2019 Planner was going to be mine.
It's similar to the Starbucks 2017 Planner that I had. The cover is made of cloth-like material and a pouch. only it didn't have a pen.
New Year, New Planner | Starbucks 2017 Planner in Coffee Stains (Big) |
Every year, the Starbucks planner comes with a special edition Starbucks card, and a chance to win up to a year's supply of Starbucks coffee! Read the terms here.
So for this year, I opted for a lighter color.
Because I had the Starbucks 2018 Planner in Blue and Tan sleeves already. I figured it's time for a change. LOL.
Review: Starbucks 2018 Planner (Philippines) |
I'm not much of a blue person. I either like black or pink. Sometimes gray, navy blue and moss green, but never light blue or any shade related to it. But this teal pouch is just speaking to me on so many levels! How can you resist the simplicity?
And this cute Starbucks cup zipper?
Unlike the Starbucks 2017 Planner, this year, Starbucks' logo is made of metal, that is attached to the pouch. Nice.
The pouch also has a pocket for your Starbucks 2019 special edition card! So nifty.
Starbucks 2019 Planner (Philippines) | What's Inside?
Fellow planner people, if you still haven't decided on a planner, then perhaps this may help you. I'm not sure if this is a collaboration with Moleskin, like what they have in Singapore, but the pages are somewhat similar.
The Starbucks 2019 Planner (Philippines) now has grids! Super yay, because I can finally do bullet journaling better!
Plus, it's more interactive, as compared to the previous ones which are pretty straightforward. (Check out the next photos so you'll know what I mean.)
On the first page, there's an overview of the first half of 2019.
Followed by the space to provide your personal information.
Then a two-page 2019 to 2020 calendar.
January 2019
February 2019
March 2019
April 2019
May 2019
June 2019
July 2019
August 2019
September 2019
October 2019
November 2019
December 2019
Then there are several pages for your notes too!
And finally, the coupons.
At the last page, is an overview of the last half of 2019.
Starbucks 2019 Planner (Philippines) | Is it worth it?
If you love coffee and have the money for it, why not?
If you are a planner-kind of a person like me, looking for a nice and quality planner, yes! I've done my research, and I only chose between the Starbucks 2019 Planner of Singapore and the Philippines. My previous Starbucks planner was so useful to me, so I just had to get another one for 2019.
Are you on a budget? Not a coffee-person? Not into handwriting your thoughts or stuff during a meeting or class? Then NO, this is not for you. First of all, 18 cups of coffee is a lot, for someone like me who is not a frequent coffee drinker. So spending money on coffee is so not me. But, if you really want the planner, then you can ask (or beg?) your coffee-lover friends or family to collect stickers for you instead.
Here's to hoping for a better 2019 through planning, and implementing them. 😉
