My first Colourpop Cosmetics haul! |
Several weeks ago, I finally decided to try purchasing from the US. Why? Because it's still cheaper (especially when you buy in bulk) per piece as compared to buying it from re-sellers here who sell it for P450 above plus shipping fee! (P.S., @thebeautyclubph sells it for only P429. Find them on Instagram, Facebook, and Shopee and hook yourselves with the cheapest Colourpop products. You're welcome!)
So going back, I was really nervous at first of course, because this transaction is all about trust:
- you trust your instincts, that you have chosen the shades that will all suit you and your skin tone
- that your online payment has been received and this is not a scam (lol I always get paranoid transacting online, most especially if it's a thousand miles away!)
- that your order was processed and that the package will really arrive at your doorstep--straight from the US.
My Colourpop Cosmetics package! |
TBH, I was expecting for a box-like packaging for the items I ordered since that's what I've been seeing before, but I don't know how it works now. Maybe that only applies for a minimum order, but I don't even know. Anyway, the packaging is simple but functional as it has foam-like stuff to not deform your Colourpop products when it's on its way to you.
A personalized note from Colourpop Cosmetics |
Upon opening, I especially loved Colourpop's personalized note. It's handwritten, so it makes you feel special in a way. Although the message is probably repeated tons of times (on my second order, I got the same message, handwritten), I'm sold.
Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip |
By the way, each package comes with a handwritten note and a booklet or a brochure (whatever you'd like to call it) which contains a summary of what Colourpop has to offer to its customer.
What I ordered:
So, I only got one (1) Lippie Stix and six (8) Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks, Take a look at it below:

I finally had the time to do swatches but I'm just fixing a few things here and there first. After that, I'll be able to share it to you guys, so just stay tuned...
Soon! :)
