Staycation: Solemar del Pansol, Calamba, Laguna

Saturday night, I was told (by told, I meant I was asked--and that I have to come. lol) by the boyfriend that he and his family will celebrate his younger brother's birthday at Pansol, Laguna the following day until Monday, which is a holiday. We were both supposed to attend a birthday party, but since it was his brother's birthday celebration, it is the priority.

Sunday noon, we were off to their house to be with his family and go to the resort. There wasn't a reservation yet, but Pansol, being a popular place for hot springs, and private pools, there's always a place for celebrations and gatherings.

Solemar del Pansol is a village found in Calamba, Laguna which is an hour or two away from Manila. There, you'll find a lot of private resorts that suit your taste and budget--there's Yamaguchi which happens to have a slide! It's a bit small, but hey who wouldn't enjoy privacy, especially if you're with your family, relatives or friends!

The resort we rented was along Dahlia St., with 3 floors and bedrooms.

First floor: pool area (two pools--one is for the kids), a garage big enough for 2 big cars, mini-kitchen with gas stove and refrigerator, men and women's bathroom, and karaoke.

Second floor: One bedroom has a double deck and a double bed; another has 2 double beds, and lastly, the master's room which has its own bathroom, a double bed with a pull-out mattress. The floor also has a balcony with a billiard table, darts, and a common bathroom.

Third floor: Conference room/function area. Unfortunately, this was locked so I can't show any picture.
