It's already our day 3 in Hong Kong and it's still raining, which means it's so cold once again, so we decided to find a place to eat which serves noodles and soup. Thankfully, we found one just a few walks away from our hotel! And gosh, they serve the best Shrimp Wanton I have ever tasted in my whole life. Unfortunately though, the owner/server doesn't know how to speak English, so we just pointed our orders from the menu.
The third photo is the Shrimp Wanton with lots of chili flakes!
Next stop--Hong Kong Ocean Park!
It was still raining that morning, but we still continued with our plan for the day since we figured it would rain the whole time we're there anyway so why not just deal with it.
We were one of the first ones to enter the park so we walked around first while deciding which ride to line up for.
And since it was raining non-stop, there were fewer people lining up!
We first lined up for the cable car. We thought it was going to last for just 5 to 10 minutes but no. It was what, almost an hour! Through the ride, you'll have a 360 degrees view of Hong Kong Ocean Park--which includes the rides, the sea, and the cliff coast. If you have acrophobia or the fear of heights, you don't want to ride here because the cable car starts from the bottom up to the highest parts of the Ocean Park. (This theme park is situated on a mountain, I think. It's that big.)
Finally reached the end of the cable car ride! Look how high we are now--literally.
Then we got to this mini-zoo with animals you can interact with. There's even this Pelican zoo who wants to kiss us! I just started doing the duck face and there he/she was. Tapping the glass with its huge beak. :)
Here's us smiling even though we're soaked. We're still using the raincoat we bought from Disneyland. LOL
And while you're walking around, finding for your next ride, please try this grilled squid! It's got that smokey, sweet and salty taste and ham-like texture. Really yummy. :)
We were just in time for the dolphin show!
We took mostly pictures, but you may watch the video I took here.
Just walking around again, since all the rides were soaked from the rain... Heavy rain, at that.
While walking, we found another loooooong escalator.
View from the top...
Ocean Express
I swear that day was just so gloomy. It was raining hard so we were just freaking cold...
Yay because there's another museum! Here, we were able to see pandas in real life, as well as alligators/crocodiles, different kinds of Koi fishes, and a lot more!
Such a shy croc. LOL
The pandas were sleeping though because apparently, it's hibernation already for them. But aren't they soooo cute?? And yes, the red one is a panda too.
We had our pictures taken with the sleeping panda! Dream come true to have finally seen a real panda and have a picture taken with it!
All these fishes have something very big in them. Haha.
More photos from this big aquarium en route to Aqua Voyage.
The super entertaining acrobatic show, Aqua Voyage! Which happens at 5 pm. :)

Note: This is a DIY trip, meaning we did not book through a travel agency. All we did was to book a flight (Piso/Promo fare!) and research online about the places to visit and hotel to go for. Click here for my review of the hotel we stayed in. It was the New Yiu Fai Guesthouse, which is just very near the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. They also offer discounted prices for Hong Kong Disneyland, Ocean Park, and other attractions as well. :)
